Legal Question in Workers Comp in Louisiana
was working for a homebuilder here in Louisiana and a few days ago i stepped off of a scaffold and broke my ankle in three places. I was being paid cash with no written agreement with the contractor. employer refuses to allow workmans comp, pay any medical bills, and has since "fired" me. accepts no liability whatsoever. What recourse do i have concerning this matter?
