Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Maine
A contractor worked on my home and caused damage. I sued him, won and now he is filing for chapter 7 bankruptcy. Will my law suit against him be dismissed? I heard that in the state of maine if a contractor damages your property that the lawsuit can't be dismissed.

Of you do not bring a lawsuit in the bankruptcy court to try to prevent the debt from being discharged before the deadline, it will be discharged.
