Legal Question in Family Law in Maine

so. stupid question im a alchohilic ..... and me and the wife are prob going to file for divorice. i really want custody of my kid because she really is insane .. has tried to kill herself a few times since i've been with her.... but am i lost cause because i drink?

The court will consider all of the facts and do what she/he believes is best for the child. there is no rule that says you will automatically lose because of your condition.
