Legal Question in Administrative Law in Maine
consultation law
i went to see a lawyer a week ago to get a consulatation abot my immigration case. we talked for 1 h and she took some notes too. i didn't like the way she was talking to me, because she was only accusing me of lying. well, i called her the next day and told her that i donn't want her service and to send me back my material. she was very upset about it and told me she will send me a bill for her hours.
i told her nobody ever mention something about a consultation fee.
i received a bill of $ 315 for 1.50 hours. do i have to pay this bill?
either she never said somthing about an fee or the webside.
