Legal Question in Banking Law in Maine
Banking Law
We have a business with 4 owners, 2 which were both listed on bank signiture card. One had another removed from the card with a court order. There was no notice to any other owner about this court order. Now the bank has put a freeze on the checking accounts and will not explain. What would be the banks reasoning behind this action?

Re: Banking Law
One of the signatories should inquire directly to the bank. THere are likely unprocessed negotiable instruments or other documents pending for which the bank does not wish to assume liability.
