my car is 2 months behind and my daughter is deathly ill. i am making faith to pay the payments today and send another month in advance. the bank is refusing it, i have medical documentation stating the situation. they are refusing my payment and asking me to hand my truck over? is this leagl

Once you fall behind on payments, the bank has the legal right to repossess. It is standard practice to refuse any payment once you fall 60 days behind. At that stage, your only legal options are to beg the bank to accept payments, or file a Chapter 13 reorganization.
