Legal Question in Banking Law in Maine

Credit Cards

My girlfriend added my name as a second user to her visa card three years visa sent me a card wich i did use one time for roughly one hundred dollars. I paid that within two days Two years ago i her to remove my name from her visa wich she did not . The visa company is trying to place a leen on my property saying i owe them $2000.

I never signed any legal document with them and never wanted to be on her card also it is showjng on my credit report when i never provided them with a social security card.

Send the credit card company a letter informing them about the unauthorized act of your girlfriend and assail the lien being placed on your property on the basis of the facts you stated.
