Legal Question in Banking Law in Maine
Is a proxy possible for banking forms
I'm stuck out of the country, but my bank needs me to fill out papers to give me access to my account. Is it possible to have a proxy to fill out or handle the papers for me?

You need to give someone power of attorney. This is done by signing a form that meets the requirements under Maine law. It will also need to be notarized. You might want to check with the bank about what their requirements are for having something notarized out of the country.
Feel free to contact me if you help with this.
