Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Maine
I filed bankruptcy in jan 2007. My home was included. we chose to move out and it has been 4 years. The house is still in our name and has not been foreclosed. The original lender was Countrywide and was sold to Bank of America. we have thought about a short sale and have asked for a deed in lieu but are not sure waht we should do. Our credit not improving. Should we simply wait it out and what is the best decision to regain our good credit?
