Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Maine
One month ago I had a 'no ditribution' chapter 7 bankruptcy case discharged and closed in MA. One day later my fiancee closed on a house in Maine. She is the only one on the mortgage and title. She put $165000 down payment on the property so there is a lot of equity. At this point is it safe for me to go on the title, i.e. is the bankruptcy court potentially going to look into my finances or are they done with me?
