Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Maine
I am recently unemployed. I am behind on all my bills. I need to file for bankruptcy. I was told I would not be able to file for bankruptcy if I was unemployed, it that true?

No, you may file at any time. If you are filing a Chapter 13 reorganization, you may need some regular source of income to fund your plan.
