Legal Question in Business Law in Maine
I am under the age of 18 and I would like to start my own local DJ service, how can I make this service legal. I heard you need a business license and I need to form my own contracts.
I would like help on how to make my DJ service 100% legal.
Also, I need advice on how to create contracts for the service.
Thanks!

You need to see a lawyer to get all this done the right way. Find a lawyer that specializes in business law who lives close to you and make an appointment. Good luck.

As a Franchise Attorney I can only add the following to the other attorney answer. Because you are under 18, you lack capacity to enter into business contracts, etc. If you want to proceed, you will need to associate with someone who is 18-plus. This will require careful business decisions and structuring, so consult with a good business or franchise attorney in your area for specific advice.
