Legal Question in Business Law in Maine
I paid $500 down payment of a mobile home. Decided I did not want the home afterall. contacted the seller to inform. Seller refuses to refund the $500. Is he under a legal obigation to return the money, or am I out of luck?

The Answer can only be determined upon a review of the terms of your written Sales Contract. If your decision to not purchase is suported by a contractual contingency, then you are entitled to a refund, but if it is not, then you likely are not entitled to a refund.
