recording a phone call in maine
If a phone call comes from florida (which is a two party state) and is answered in maine ( a one party state)and is recorded in maine without the caller from florida knowing, is ithis legal?

Both Florida, and I believe Federal Law, require both parties to be aware of the recording, so it should not be done, even if one party is located in Maine.

I would say no, because the state it was recorded in is attempting to protect the rights of the unknowing participate, i.e. the caller from FL.
