Legal Question in Consumer Law in Maine
We own a retail store in the state Maine, our store was recently shoplifted by a couple of women, is it legal to post an image / photo or a video clip of those persons while in the act of shoplifting our store without their permission, on the internet (such as facebook) with a heading that reads "Does anyone recognize either of these persons?" ?

With this type of thing you want to be careful that you do not identify them as shoplifters, since at this point they are just suspects. Placing photo at the store should not be a problem, but you should be more careful with them online, since you can't control what happens with the photos.
