Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Maine

Lien placed on My mother's property

I owe money for a student loan, and the company placed a lien on my mother's house. I have no right to my mother's house. How do I fight this? I lived with her for 2 months this summer and they took my address from that time and placed the lien on her property in my name. What can I do?

Re: Lien placed on My mother's property

Did she co-sign?

Are you on the title of the house>?

Is there a JUDGMENT vs. you or your mother?
