Legal Question in Criminal Law in Maine
I'm trying to help a friend...he has an outstanding warrant in another state an was wondering if there is an alternative sentencing for criminal conviction??

The range of possible sentences depends on what charges he's facing and in which state. The likelihood he'll be able to make a plea deal will depend on those factors, and on the facts of his case and his criminal history, if any.
Please re-post your question under the correct state, and tell us more about your friend's case. But don't get too specific about the alleged crime, so that future readers won't be able to tie your question to a specific defendant. (That could be a real problem if the prosecutor sees your question.)
