Legal Question in Criminal Law in Maine
i want to leave the state while on probation
I would like to leave the state of Louisiana,but i am on probation for a felony conviction of indicent behavior with a juvenile.Can i leave the state i have paid my dues and have been trying to go to therapy classes.

A lot depends on your probation officer. They may be able to transfer your probation elsewhere. They may refuse to let you move.
In any event, you will still have reporting requirements and will have to let the authorities and your neighbors know about your conviction and where you are living.
