Legal Question in Criminal Law in Maine
Polygraph Prior to Arrest
A sum of money is missing from a safe where I work 6 months ago. At least 5 people had access to this safe, no arrests have been made. I have been summoned for a polygraph, should I go?

Re: Polygraph Prior to Arrest
I am not licensed in your state and cannot advise you as to legal consequences of taking a polygraph in your state.
This situation probably has you between a rock and a hard place. Consult a competent lawyer in your jurisdiction to find out whether or not the polygraph results could be used against you. In some states this poses a real problem; you need to talk to a lawyer face to face and the sooner the better. Good Luck.
