I had to post a $50 bond for $500 bail over twenty years for a OUI in Maine. The court date was weeks later and I had left Maine and never made it back. My license is suspended in Maine because of charges and now I cannot renew my license in my home state because of this. Are there any time statutes for fines, like this, it was when I was stupid and a kid. What is the best way to proceed toclear this up. I cannot get back to Maine.
