Child support if parent is full-time student with no income
What happens to child support if the paying parent is a student (full-time, part-time)? If I am a student?
And what if he is unemployed due to a disability?

Re: Child support if parent is full-time student with no income
Child support is not always calculated by the Court on each parent's actual income. In certain circumstances it may be based on imputed income that a parent could be earning if they chose to remain employed at their most productive level. In other words, the choice by a parent to quit a job, go back to school, etc., should not negatively impact the child's receipt of support. In any particular case the specific facts will make a big difference as to exactly how much child support is appropriate.
