Child support payments

does a non custodial parent have to continue paying child support payments if the child moves out of the custodial parents home?

As a general rule; yes. Depending on the specific language of the child support order, unless the child has attained his or her majority, become emancipated or had a guardian appointed, the child support continues. Depending upon the factual circumstances, the payor may seek to amend the child support order to reflect the factual change. Otherwise, the child support order continues on in force, and the payor runs the risk of accruing a substantial child support arrearage.

yes, until an order of court terminating or modifying child support is obtained.
