Re: Dhhs
It sounds like you have been through a lot. First and foremost, you should have an attorney since you are involved in a child protection case in which your constitutional rights to parent your child are at stake. You should be having regular family team meetings with DHHS and a reunification plan that outlines what needs to be done to have your daughter returned. Next month it sounds like your case is most likely set for a judicial review. This will give you the opportunity to bring up any concerns that you may have about your daughter to the judge. I would suggest talking with your attorney about your concerns and potentially talking with your child's pediatrician to see why her rash is still not cared for. It is important for you to have a good relationship with your case manager at DHHS, the Guardian ad litem for your daughter, and your attorney. You have some very strict time lines in place to get to a place to have your daughter back. Soon your daughter will need a permanency plan in place where the court will need to consider what should happen to her moving forward. Many parents do not understand that in order to have your child returned, you need to do more than the list of things that are listed in your reunification plan. You need to also be able to take the information and implement the information that you have been provided with in real life. Either way, good luck and I hope my email has been helpful.
