I live in maine and my ex lives in PA. I want to send our daughter to stay with him for the summer. Will PA honor maine law on a custody agreement?

Re: family law

As a general rule, yes; it will. I am assuming that the "custody agreement" you refer to is actually a court order from a Maine court. All states are required to recognize the Maine Judgment. Specifically, the law is called the Uniform Child Custody Jurisdiction Act (UCCJA). Your ex will be subject to the requirements of your Judgment, provided that Maine has been the residence of your daughter for the past six months prior to the visit with her father.
