Legal Question in Family Law in Maine
According to judgment in the divorce i kept my house and my x wife moved out. Giving me a year to refinance the morgage to get her name off. I ran into health problems and was out of work 8 months of that year and now have credit issues not allowing me to refinance. the bill is paid current can she force me to sell the home if it shows im trying to refinance?

Depending on the language in your divorce judgment, she probably has to go to court to try to force you to sell. It would be up to the judge to determine if you should have more time.
