time frame

just a real simple one in the state of maine you have 20 days to file your divorce papers from the time you have your spouse served dose that mean 20 working days or count all days including weekends ?? thanks for any help

All days. If the 20th day falls on a day the

court is not open, the next day the court is open

substitutes" for the 20th day.

In New York, 20 days means 20 calendar days, whether you work on them or not. If the 20th day falls on a Sunday or legal holiday, you get the benefit of another day.
