I am a heir in my Dad's estate and am wondering how I can get a copy of the inventory and assetts from my step mother. We do not speak.

This should be public information if your father's estate is being handled by the probate court. This is typically in the county court where your father lived. Since you are an heir, the personal representative (who may be your step mother) should be providing you with this information. The probate court can help explain what the process is, and what has been filed in your fathers estate. If you need to dispute something, you will want to get an attorney.
