Legal Question in Immigration Law in Maine
My great grandfather was born in Italy and moved to America before he turned 18. I am not sure if he was naturalized when he came to America, or if he was naturalized after my grandfather was born. How could I obtain any type of documentation on if my great grandfather was naturalized or not? Would it be with a family member? I am asking because I am interested in a dual citizenship.

There are a number of ways you could try to find out about your great-grandfather although it was a long time ago. I would start with your family for sure, otherwise USCIS might have something or even the state where he lived. I'm not sure how any of this will help you with dual citizenship - if you are a US citizen and are looking to make a claim in Italy, do they recognize great grandparent relationships?
