Can my removal case be dismissed if my rights were not explained to me after I was arrested for dv assault. That was three years ago.

Yes under the Supreme court decision of Padilla v. Kentucky passed in 2010. If you were not advised of the criminal consequences on your immigration rights then consult with a criminal attorney to see whether they can assist you with post conviction relief in getting your criminal convictions vacated (each state has different statute of limitations) and then consult with an Immigration attorney to assist you with the next step in your removal case.
