Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in Maine
Medical Malpratice
My wife went to a hospital, last year, because she lost the use of her left leg, hospital did all kinds of test, EKG, head cat scan, all negative, but thay could not find a pedal pulse, even with a dopler machine, they sent us home, with no answer but to follow up with a family doc, she died a week later. I have all her medical records, and was told that the hospital did nothing wrong, however I was told by several medical personal that she ehould have stayed because of the pulse problem, but can not go on record because of job issues. I have also been told if she did not have a pedal pulse, it could have been a blod clot, and that was never brought at all. When she was flown to Boston, she had a blood clot in front of her kindeys, and a disected aorta. I beleive that the clot was there on July 6, and the hospital just did not do their job.

Re: Medical Malpratice
Please accept my condolences for your loss. I would like the opportunity to speak with you. Your description of your wife's hospital care indicates the possibility of medical malpractice. The lack of a pedal pulse should have alerted the hospital of other potential cardiac and vascular issues. Please let me know if I may assist you further, as I am willing to explore this potential claim further with you. Thank you for your inquiry.
