Re: about tort law
Your questions do not really appear to seek answers regarding tort law itself, instead you are seeking information concerning the proper handling of tort law issues and client contact by an attorney. Nevertheless, I can address your question by stating that once an attorney-client relationship has commenced, the attorney is ethically obligated to vigorously proceed with the case, and this usually includes meeting with the client in person, as well as discussions with the insurance adjustor, if insurance is available to the defendant.
I cannot tell the proper context from the information you have provided in your question. An attorney is not obligated to take your case after simply speaking with you, but if you have signed an engagement letter with your attorney you should let that attorney know how you are feeling about their handling of the matter if you are unsatisfied.
