Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Maine

If someone elses name is on the deed to my house but i put the entire deposit down, can they try to take some of that deposit when we sell the house?

Yes. Unless there is a court order splitting the equity in the house, they can negotiate for a percentage or split of all equity in the house.
