IRS seizure of bank account
I would like to add my sons name as joint holder to my husband and my bank account for estate purposes. He has back debts owed to the IRS and the state for various unpaid taxes from when he owned a small business.
Is the State or the IRS allowed to sieze and bank account on which his name and ss number apprears?
Also, can the state sieze a home he owns jointly with us ?
Thank you,
