Administrator's fees
Could you please tell me approx. what an average fee would be for the administrator of a will. I've heard anywhere from 5% - 10% of the estate.

The Administrator does not even need to be paid at all, but if a lawyer is hired by the administrator the fee is based upon complexitiy of the estate work and not a % of the total value. It is common for an estate to cost $2,500 to $3,500 to be administered, plus accountant fees.
