Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Maine

Contesting A Will

My brother took my father (who is menatally disturbed, and has althezimer) to his own atty to have a Life Estate set up.

When I filed a complaint with the Bar, the atty said he was my brother's business atty, not his personal atty.

I can not get medical records till my father is dead. He is in Togus VA Althezimer section.

Life Estate was file in Feb of 2004, what is the statue of limitation?

Re: Contesting A Will

I am not sure I fully understand your question. Did your brother have your father sign a will that gave your brother a life estate? When the statute of limitations begins will depend on exactly what happen, and I would need more details to give you an answer. Feel free to contact me to discuss this.
