my mom went into a asissted livng home. she can not live alone. My sister has power of attoruney. My mothers home was supposed to be mine in her wil when she passes. Now that she is in a home,my sister wants to sell the home. Can she do this?

Whether your sister can sell the home depends on the amount of power granted in the power of attorney. It may be that she has complete authority to do so. It's important to see and read the power of attorney to see what limitations it imposes.
In addition, if your mother is still of sound mind, she can revoke the power of attorney or do a new one naming someone else.
