Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Maine

stepmom pulled plug on my father in me. did not tell me

in the month of oct. i called my dad in north anson me. to ask him a question and to tell him we would be up to see him. no one called back like he always does.on nov 29th he was rushed to waterville hosp. in me. because he hurt his leg. died ,rrevied him and he went into a coma. found oput though a trid party he had termial cancer of the kidneys,liver,colon. stepmom called once and never returned my calls. my youngest son called the hosp/ on dec 2th to tell her we would be there sat. and she already pulled the pulg. i have a sister and a brother here in r.i. who should have been there but the women is evil. can we get a helmet,jacket or any mommentos of his.we don't want money or his protery oin me. called moose river run. her name is doris normandin works at home depot in me.thnxs if u can help.

You have described a very difficult and unfortunate situation. I have assisted other clients in protecting their interests as heirs in estate matters, so I may be able to help you and/or your siblings. However, it depends upon what documents your father executed prior to his passing, such as possibly a Will, or Powers of Attorney (for financial or healthcare) in favor of Ms. Normandin. The documents may give her the right to have done this, and she may be his sole heir at law. It also depends on when the documents were executed, under what conditions, and the documents may or may not even be valid.
