Re: will reading

A Will can be presented to the Probate Court within 3 years of death, although one in possession of a Will has an obligation to file it promptly. You do not need to be present for Will reading to inherit. You may file a request with the Court for Notice, or, if you have reason to believe the estate needs administration and the Will is being held back you can file a request to be appointed executor of an estate without a Will and notice of that to all interested parties will likely force the Will to be filed if there is one.
