Legal Question in Workers Comp in Maine
i am a subcontractor with no insurance,i was hurt working for a contractor who had no insurance for me,if i am hurt working for him is he liable for my accident

Thank you for your inquiry. The short answer is: "It depends." Whether the contractor is liable for your injuries, and whether his workers compensation insurance applies to you, depends on the very specific facts of your relationship with him (how the work gets done and if he tells you when you have to be there, etc.) and how you got hurt.
