Medical Records

I wish to move to Canada in a few months.

I wish to take my medical records with me.

Can the Doctor object to me asking for them ?

Who is the legal owner of my medical records ?

The retention period by statute is 5 years although I have obtained records beyond this time period. A fee may apply of $15 for document preparation and $0.60 per page adjusted for inflation based on the CPI after 1995 plus a actual mailing costs.
