Legal Question in Banking Law in Maryland
Back in 2008 a credit card company withdrew over $5,800. from my bank acct. I was not aware nor did I give them permission. This caused significant bank fees to my acct. I asked to bank to close the acct and they refused. I am now being sued for over $1,800 in bank fees. Do I have any recourse?

If the bank had a judgment from a court of law and withdrew the funds from your account to satisfy that judgment, they had the right and there is nothing you can do.
