Legal Question in Banking Law in Maryland
Bad Checks
I cashed a couple of checks for a friend who said his bank was holding his money for some reason and he didn't know why. So i deposited three checks into my account the most being $500.00, and gave him cash for them. The checks ended up being bad. Can I file a case through the state's attorney or does it have to be a civil case? and how would i go about doing this?
