Legal Question in Banking Law in Maryland
Who is responsible?
I am divorced in the decree it states she has to return the car or refinance it, she did neither..am I still responsible for the loan? The loan is in just my name,it was aquired when we were married and both of our names are on the title.

You are responsible to the bank if you signed the note. You may be able to recoup by filing suit against your ex for enforcement of the divorce judgment or any settlement agreement you had with her, but the car company will look to you for the money because they loaned it to you.
