Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Maryland
Bankruptcy Filing Time Frames
I filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy in February of 2004, I want to file again before the law changes, can I file again or is there a waiting period? If so what is the waiting period?

Re: Bankruptcy Filing Time Frames
Under law in effect until 10/17, technically you can file any chapter now, BUT there's likely no benefit, since you will not get a discharge under any chapter other than 13 (assuming you got a discharge in 2004). If you want to file Chapter 13 now, you need to contact a lawyer IMMEDIATELY.
