Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Maryland
Is my car a dichargable debt?
I have a used car (95 Ford THunderbird) that I have had since August. However, I can no longer afford the payments since I am unemployed. I still need my car to get around and lokk for jobs, though. Can I go bankrupt but still keep my car? The cars value minus what I have already paid is approx. $5,000.

You may be able to file Chap. 13 and keep the car with lower payments. See a bankruptcy attorney for details.
