Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Maryland
Complaint objecting to discharge
I have been named as a creditor in a Chapter 7 Bankruptcy Case. I had gone through the whole court thing and was having her wages garnished. Then she filed Chapter 7. I need a Complaint Objecting to Discharge of the Debtor. Have to file this no later than `12-15-04.

Objections to discharge are highly technical, both as to the law and as to procedures. You need to consult with a bankruptcy attorney, ASAP. You will not be able to successfully prosecute such an action on your own.

We handle these regularly in DC, MD and VA, but as John Sawyer says, they are technical. Under certain circumstances, if you lose, you can owe the debtor his/her attorney's fees. We would be willing to take a look at your circumstances and advise.
Re: Complaint objecting to discharge
The only thing I would add to what has been said is that you are essentially filing a lawsuit against the Debtor. So aside from the legal elements of your case, you need to consider whether it's worth the expense even if you do win. It better be for a large expense, or it wont be worth your money.
