Date of discharge in bankruptcy - date of filing or date of entry by court?
Under 11 USC 727, when a debtor is discharged in bankruptcy... what is the date they use for the discharge?
Is it the date that they FILED for bankruptcy or the date the court GRANTED that person backruptcy in a court order?

The filing date is the filing date; the discharge date is the discharge date. The "order for relief" is the filing date except in an involunary case.
