Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Maryland
I file for bankruptcy on 11/30/2010 and on 12/08/2010 some debt collector frozed my account for 1300 dollar and on top of that have taken MY WHOLE last weeks pay check the whole check and this weeks check is this even legal I already file and to my understanding there is an automatic stay that comes effective the moment you file

It sounds like this is a stay violation. You should be able to get the accounts unfrozen and get the garnished wages back, and if this creditor got notice of the bankruptcy then you can get additional actual and punitive damages for the willful violation. Your lawyer should be able to help you.
