Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Maryland
I filed chapter 13. I am making all of my trustee paments on time, and I am paying my creditors as usual. The condo association where I live is sending me collection letters for the periods that I have placed on my bankruptcy. In addition, the association has de-activated my entry key pass; and therefore, I am unable to enter the development in which I live. Do I have grounds to file a law suit? What actions do I need to take at this point?

You need to tell your bankruptcy lawyer, who will pursue the condo association for violating the automatic stay.

You may have a action against the association for violation of the automatic stay. You should call your bankruptcy lawyer and bring the proof of the collection efforts with you.
