Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Maryland
Judgement/Lien
One of my employees has a judgement on his driving record that prevents him from obtaining a license. Additionally, he has many medical bills that he will never be able to repay. First, does a bankruptsy eliminate an insurance company judgement so that he can get a license and secondly, under which chapter should he file for clearing both issues.

Re: Judgement/Lien
A bankruptcy will eliminate the judgment as a bar to a drivers license. His overall financial situation will determine which chapter (7, 13, or possibly 11 or 12) will be best for him. He needs to consult with an experienced bankruptcy lawyer to go over his situation and advise him.
